How to steer Human Missile

The camera is the flight stick. Look where the brick is worth it.

How to Steer

Launching is a hold. Steering is a look. Official Human Missile text says you steer into the biggest, most valuable targets by moving your camera. That sentence is the whole skill ceiling. Players who treat the camera like a sightseeing tool fly into empty sky. Players who treat it like a stick delete houses.

If you cannot leave the pad, fix how to launch first. If you hit the house and it shrugs, fix how to score. This page is only the middle beat: pointing the body at value.

Frame before you hold

The cheapest steer happens on the ground. Rotate the view until the target occupies the center third of the screen. Then hold. A missile that already faces the house needs a correction, not a rescue. Rescue steers are how you graze roofs and bounce.

On PC, a mouse with decent DPI helps. On mobile, use the look region, not the boost thumb. On console, keep look sensitivity high enough that a house-sized turn does not take half the flight. The controls tool lists the inputs; your job is the habit.

In the air, commit a turn

Tiny flicks fight the physics. Make one decisive camera move toward the structure, then hold that frame. If you chase the target with constant micro-adjustments, the body wiggles and you bleed speed—the same speed scoring needs for a real explosion.

When two buildings look similar, pick the fatter silhouette. Official language rewards biggest and most valuable. A wide house beats a lonely lamp post. The targets tier list is the ranking; your eyes still have to lock it.

Sharing the sky

Eight players will cross your reticle. Do not steer into a friend just because they are moving. They are not a high-value structure unless they are parked in the doorway you already wanted. If someone else claims your house, yaw to the next pile instead of starting a mid-air argument the game never advertised as PvP.

Debris after a smash can hide the next target. Sweep the camera once after you land, mark the next silhouette, then launch. That sweep is steering too, just on the ground.

Platform-specific camera sins

PC: unlocking the cursor to chat mid-flight. Mobile: dragging with the boost thumb so the hold dies. Console: look inversion that you never set, so every dive goes into dirt. Fix inversion in Roblox camera settings before you blame Maddorith.

If the camera feels laggy, it is often a full eight-player server plus a pile of debris, not a secret ‘steer upgrade’ you missed. Spend shop points on destruction first; see how to upgrade. A cosmetic trail will not rotate the view for you.

Drills that actually transfer

  1. Ground-frame a house, launch, and refuse to touch the camera. Notice the miss or the hit.
  2. Ground-frame, launch, and allow one in-air correction.
  3. Pick a smaller target on purpose, then go back to a fat house and feel the difference in value.

Ten minutes of that drill teaches more than an hour of random hops. When the look is boring, you are ready to care about upgrades and beta items. Until then, the camera is the whole game.

If you want the loop around this skill, return to how to play. If you want a first-night script, return to getting started. Steering is the page you reread after every embarrassing sky tour.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Human Missile questions.

How do you steer in Human Missile?

Move the camera toward the target. Official instructions do not give a separate lock-on key. Look at the valuable structure, then commit.

Should I steer while I am still on the pad?

Yes. Frame the house first, then hold to launch. In-air rescues waste speed.

Why do I keep flying into the sky?

You launched without a framed target, or you flicked the camera instead of committing one turn.
